Cool weather should continue through Sunday with a slight warm-up and rain on Monday and the chance of snow Wednesday.

Sunday is expected to be sunny with temperatures in the low 40s, the National Weather Service predicts. Overnight Sunday, rain will move into the region and is expected to last through Monday. Less than one-tenth of an inch of accumulation is expected.

Expect a blustery start to the workweek along with the rain showers. Wind gusts can reach up to 34 miles per hour Monday, according to the forecast. The high for Monday is expected to reach 59.

The cooler temperatures will come back Tuesday, with a 50% chance of snow or rain on Wednesday. Snow is most likely to fall early Wednesday morning or late Wednesday night.

Cold, but clear weather could end the rest of the week heading into Thursday and Friday. Temperatures are expected to dip near freezing.
