Weather conditions Tuesday are again expected to be warmer than normal for February, the National Weather Service said.

Daily highs in the mid 40s with a north wind from 5 to 9 mph are expected across Long Island, the service’s Upton office said.

News 12 Long Island meteorologist Rich Hoffman called for mostly sunny skies with highs across Nassau and Suffolk counties near 47 degrees.

Tuesday night brings increasing clouds and overnight lows in the mid to upper 30s, Hoffman said.

Clouds increase Wednesday, with periods of rain likely.

Hoffman said it will be a warm, windy Wednesday with daily highs near 57.
