A Queens man who fled the scene of a crash in Valley Stream but returned a short time later was arrested Monday and charged in connection with the accident, Nassau County police said.

Fulvio Mora, 39, of 37-57 93rd Street, Jackson Heights, was arrested after he returned to the crash scene - the corner of Rockaway Parkway and West St. Marks Place in Valley Stream.

Police said More was charged with leaving the scene of an auto accident with serious physical injury, having an uninsured motor vehicle, unlicensed operation, reckless driving and passing on the right.

Police said Mora was driving his 1999 Mitsubishi south on Rockaway Parkway when he struck a 2000 Honda at about 7 a.m. The force of the collision flipped the Honda.

A passenger in the vehicle suffered what police called "severe injuries." The driver was not injured, police said.

Police did not provide more details on the passenger's injuries Tuesday.

Mora was scheduled for arraignment Tuesday in First District Court in Hempstead.
