Man in serious condition after Centerport ATV crash, police say
Suffolk County police said they are investigating an all-terrain vehicle crash early Sunday morning that left a Northport man with serious injuries.
Police said Joseph Pace, 32, was operating a 2011 Polaris ATV westbound on Jefferson Street at 1:10 a.m. when he apparently lost control of the vehicle and it overturned.
Pace was flown by Suffolk County police helicopter to Stony Brook University Hospital for treatment, police said.
The ATV was impounded for a safety check and the investigation is continuing.
