Man sought in theft of cigarettes in Hauppauge
Fourth Precinct detectives are looking for a man who pilfered cigarettes from a Hauppauge gas station in February, Suffolk County police said. The suspect used a debit card on Feb. 27 in an attempt to purchase cigarettes at a Shell station at 1331 Motor Pkwy., crime section detectives said. Fourth Precinct detectives are looking for a man who pilfered cigarettes from a Hauppauge gas station in February, Suffolk County police said.
The suspect used a debit card on Feb. 27 in an attempt to purchase cigarettes at a Shell station at 1331 Motor Pkwy., crime section detectives said. The card was denied, but the man left the station without paying in a burgundy sport utility vehicle, police said.
