Long Island Expressway reopens after early crash closed 2 lanes, police say

An early Wednesday morning crash on the Long Island Expressway in Melville was cleared by about 8 a.m., Suffolk police said.

Authorities said they closed the right and center lanes around 6:24 a.m. due to a crash at Exit 50.

No serious injuries were reported. No additional details were released.
