The National Weather Service has issued a coastal flood statement advising of isolated minor tidal flooding during Saturday morning's high tide cycle of "historically vulnerable South Shore bay locations."

Tidal departures of about a half-foot to a foot above astronomical tides are expected during high tide -- between 9 and 11 a.m.

The weather service said there could be "isolated minor inundation of roadways and adjacent properties."
