A 4-year-old girl was ejected from a vehicle but not seriously hurt in a two-car crash Monday night in Selden, Suffolk County police said.
The girl, who apparently was buckled into a car seat, was thrown from the vehicle at about 9:17 p.m. in a crash on Middle Country and College roads, but had only minor bleeding and abrasions, police said.
The girl, two other passengers and the driver were taken to Stony Brook University Medical Center. Police did not have an update on their conditions on Tuesday morning.
The driver of the second vehicle was treated at the scene for minor injuries, police said.
Rescue workers from the Selden Fire Department had to cut away portions of a car to free at least one passenger, but it was not clear which car.
