Missing Dix Hills teen found safe in Brooklyn, police say
A Dix Hills teenager who vanished Monday afternoon was found unharmed in Brooklyn on Friday, Suffolk police said.
Jason Geier, 17, had been the subject of a Silver Alert, a program that allows local law enforcement to share information with media outlets about missing individuals who have special needs.
In asking for the public’s help to locate him, police said Tuesday in a news release that the teenager was last seen in Dix Hills and that he suffered from some mental health issues.
