Montauk Highway in West Bay Shore reopened late Friday afternoon after it was closed for nearly four hours while officers investigated a vehicle crash involving an alleged drunken driver.

Police received a report of the crash at Bradish Lane at about 12:25 p.m., a police spokeswoman said. Two vehicles were traveling eastbound when they collided, police said.

No one was injured and one person was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated.

Informny.com, the state transportation department’s traffic alert website, said the road was closed between Admirals Drive and Bayway Avenue until being reopened at 4:16 p.m.

The police spokeswoman said the crash is still under investigation.
