Another round of snow?

Forecasters are monitoring a storm that could make its way up the East Coast and bring accumulating snow beginning Thursday night and into Friday afternoon.

"We are keeping an eye on it because there are certain models that give us a good amount of precipitation," Joe Pollina, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service in Upton, said Tuesday evening. "There's a lot of uncertainty this far out."

For Long Island, there's a 20 percent to 30 percent chance of snow Thursday night; 40 percent to 60 percent overnight through Friday morning; and 70 percent Friday morning into the afternoon, Pollina said.

The storm is expected to intensify as it moves off the Delmarva Peninsula in the Delaware-Maryland area, and passes to the east of Long Island Friday afternoon, Pollina said.

How far east the storm passes is the question.
