2) Re-tweet the contest message posted on Newsday's Twitter handle on February 10, 2011.
This sweepstakes is only open to Long Island residents aged 18 and over.

OFFICIAL RULES
1. ELIGIBILITY: NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. Only citizens or legal residents of the United States who are physically located and reside at the time of entry in Nassau County or Suffolk County, New York, who have an account on www.twitter.com as of February 7, 2011, are eligible to enter “Newsday Valentine’s Day 2011 Twitter Sweepstakes” (hereinafter the "Sweepstakes"). Entrants must be 18 years of age or older. Employees of Newsday LLC (the "Sponsor"), and their advertising or promotion agencies, parent companies, service providers, agents, officers, subsidiaries or affiliates, or any other persons or entities directly associated with the Sweepstakes (collectively, the "Sweepstakes Entities") and members of the immediate families of and/or persons living in the same household as such persons, are ineligible to enter the Sweepstakes. This Sweepstakes is void where prohibited or restricted by law. Twitter, Inc. is not a sponsor of this Sweepstakes and does not endorse or otherwise have anything to do with this Sweepstakes.
2. HOW TO ENTER: To participate: Step 1: Follow Newsday’s Twitter handle (www.twitter.com/newsday). Step 2: To enter, you must, by 6:00:00 p.m. Eastern Time on February 10, 2011, re-tweet the sweepstakes message that will be posted on www.twitter.com/newsday beginning at approximately 8 a.m. Eastern Time on February 10, 2011. LIMIT OF ONE ENTRY PER PERSON AND PER TWITTER ACCOUNT. If there is a dispute as to the identity of an entrant of the Sweepstakes, the entry will be deemed submitted by the Twitter account holder. If multiple entries are received from the same Twitter account, only the first entry will be considered and subsequent entries will be disqualified. If any dispute arises concerning the identity of the entrant, the owner of the Twitter account from which entry was sent shall be deemed the entrant. The Sweepstakes Entities are not responsible for lost, incomplete, damaged, illegible, late, or misdirected entries, or for errors in mechanical transmission, technical difficulties or inability to transmit entries.
3. PRIZE: One (1) prizewinner will receive a $100 gift certificate to 1-800-FLOWERS. The approximate total retail value of the prize is: $100. Prize does not include insurances of any kind, personal expenses, gratuities, incidental charges or any other costs not specifically described in these Official Rules as part of the prize and will be the responsibility of the winner. In the unlikely event that any part of the Prize events/components become unavailable, for any reason whatsoever, the Prize winner agrees that the Sponsor and its agents shall have no further obligations other than to deliver the remainder of the Prize. Any difference between the stated value and the actual value of the Prize will not be awarded to the winner. Prize may be subject to expiration dates and will not be extended. Prize is not refundable or redeemable for cash or credit at any time. Prize may not be sold or transferred to a third party. No substitutions are allowed except by Sponsor in its sole discretion. Other prize restrictions may apply.
4. DRAWING AND NOTIFICATION: One (1) entry will be selected as the potential winner at random from among a pool of all eligible entries received. Drawing will be held on or about February 10, 2011. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
The potential winner will be notified via Direct Message on Twitter within five (5) business days of the drawing and must confirm his/her eligibility and provide contact information within forty-eight (48) hours after being first contacted by Sponsor. Winner may need to come to Newsday’s offices at 235 Pinelawn Road, Melville, NY 11747 to sign release forms and pick up the prize. If any potential winner notification remains unanswered for more than forty-eight (48) hours, or if a potential winner fails to provide contact information, or if he/she cannot be reached by the e-mail address and/or phone number provided, or if he/she is found to be ineligible, or if he/she cannot or does not otherwise comply with these Official Rules, or if the potential winner is unable to use the prize, such potential winner will forfeit his/her prize and Sponsor will have no further obligation to such individual. The next eligible entry chosen randomly from among the remaining entries received will be awarded the prize. All entries become Sponsor's property and will not be returned or acknowledged. All decisions regarding interpretation of these Official Rules and administration of the Sweepstakes shall be made by Sponsor whose decisions are final and binding.
5. GENERAL CONDITIONS: All Federal, state and local laws and regulations are applicable. All taxes (including, but not limited to, income taxes) and the determination that such tax liability exists are the sole responsibility of winner. Prizewinner may be required to execute an Affidavit of Eligibility, a Liability Release, and a Publicity Release ("Affidavit/Release"). Sponsor may provide an Affidavit/Release to the winner on arrival to pick up his or her prize, or via fax. Non-compliance may result in disqualification and an alternate winner may be chosen. Entry and/or acceptance of prize constitutes permission for the Sweepstakes Entities and their licensees and affiliates to use the winner's and his/her guest’s name, address (city and state), voice, biographical information, testimonial and/or likeness and image for advertising and trade purposes without further compensation, worldwide and in perpetuity, in any and all forms of media, now known and hereafter devised, including without limitation on-line, unless and to the extent prohibited by law. All entrants agree to comply with these Official Rules. Any person attempting to defraud or in any way tamper with this Sweepstakes and any person who does not comply with these Official Rules will be disqualified. Sponsor, at its sole discretion, reserves the right to cancel or modify the Sweepstakes, without liability.
6. DISCLAIMERS: If for any reason the Sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other cause(s) which corrupts or affects the administration, fairness, integrity, safety, or proper conduct of the Sweepstakes, then Sponsor reserves the right, exercisable at any time in its sole discretion, to terminate, modify, or suspend the Sweepstakes. By entering, entrants agree to release the Sweepstakes Entities from any and all losses or injuries of any kind arising out of their acceptance/possession and/or use/misuse of the prize, their participation in the Sweepstakes, or any technical malfunctions of the telephone network and/or transmission line, computer on-line system, computer dating mechanism, computer equipment, hardware, software, or any combination thereof, or any entries that are late (including delayed data transmissions), tampered with, garbled, incomplete, misdirected, lost, mutilated, delayed, corrupted, mechanically duplicated, illegible or otherwise not in compliance with these Official Rules. Entrants also agree that the Sweepstakes Entities are not responsible or liable for any injury or damage to an entrant or third person's computer system related to or resulting from Sweepstakes and its prize. The Sweepstakes Entities are not liable for damage to a user's computer system in any way due to an entrant's participation in the Sweepstakes or downloading any information in connection with the Sweepstakes, including without limitation any server failure, lost, delayed or corrupted data or other malfunction. By entering, contestants release the Sweepstakes Entities from any and all liability, claims or actions of any kind whatsoever for damages or losses to persons and property that may be sustained in connection with the Sweepstakes entry, ownership or use of the prize.
7. DISPUTES/CHOICE OF LAW: EACH ENTRANT AGREES THAT THIS SWEEPSTAKES SHALL BE GOVERNED BY THE LAWS OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK AND: (A) ANY AND ALL DISPUTES, CLAIMS AND CAUSES OF ACTION ARISING OUT OF OR CONNECTED WITH THIS SWEEPSTAKES OR ANY PRIZE AWARDED SHALL BE RESOLVED INDIVIDUALLY, WITHOUT RESORT TO ANY FORM OF CLASS ACTION, AND EXCLUSIVELY BY STATE OR FEDERAL COURTS SITUATED IN NEW YORK, (B) ANY AND ALL CLAIMS, JUDGMENTS AND AWARDS SHALL BE LIMITED TO ACTUAL OUT-OF-POCKET COSTS INCURRED, BUT IN NO EVENT ATTORNEYS' FEES, (C) NO PUNITIVE, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR OTHER DAMAGES, MAY BE AWARDED, AND (D) ENTRANT HEREBY WAIVES ALL RIGHTS TO CLAIM SPECIAL DAMAGES AND ALL RIGHTS TO HAVE SUCH DAMAGES MULTIPLIED OR INCREASED.
8. PRIVACY STATEMENT: Entrants’ information may be disclosed by Sponsor as provided for in these Official Rules, and as permitted by Sponsor’s posted Privacy Policy.
9. RULES/WINNERS' LIST: For an additional copy of these Official Rules or a prize winner listing, send a self-addressed, stamped envelope specifying which you are requesting, to: Newsday Valentine’s Day Twitter Giveaway Promotion, Attn: Social Media Coordinator, Newsday, 235 Pinelawn Road, Melville, NY, 11747. All requests for rules and winners lists must be received within thirty (30) days of the conclusion of the Sweepstakes.
