The town has revamped its website to be more smartphone-friendly.
The new website, to be unveiled today, reformats for tablets and phones, allowing mobile users to easily access all of town's content.
"The Internet and the commonplace use of mobile devices have transformed the way local governments can provide information and municipal services to residents," town Supervisor Judi Bosworth said in a news release.
Bosworth added that the redesign, the first since 2009, offers a more user-friendly experience that is "more aesthetically pleasing and modern."
A 311 online portal is prominently displayed on the main page, where residents can submit service requests online. The town's budget will also be accessible. There will also be direct links to online tax payments, forms, and the town's "My North Hempstead" mobile application.
Much of the website's more than 600 pages of content can now be translated into more than 50 languages.
Town residents who have questions about the website can call 311 or email feedback@northhempsteadny.gov.
