In light of New York's new gun safety law, the state has launched a website and hotline designed to answer the public's questions about the New York SAFE Act.

The website, nysafeact.com, has been established to address frequently asked questions and help people navigate the new requirements of gun ownership.

The New York State Police have also set up a hotline, 855-LAW-GUNS, which will go live Monday and will be available during normal business hours. The hotline will be staffed by State Police members.
