Funeral services moved for Frances McClurkin

Relatives of the late Frances McClurkin, mother of gospel music star Donnie McClurkin, have changed the location of her funeral service because of expected large crowds.
The "home-going" service initially was going to be tonight at the church where Donnie McClurkin is pastor, Perfecting Faith Church on N. Main Street in Freeport, but will now be at The Greater Allen A.M.E. Cathedral of New York, 110-31 Merrick Blvd., Jamaica, Queens.
Doors to the church will open at 6:30 p.m., with the service to start at 7 p.m.
Frances McClurkin died last Friday. She was 79.
