Two men were injured, one seriously, in a two-car crash that caused one vehicle to roll over multiple times Sunday night in Old Westbury, according to the Westbury Fire Department.

The first car, heading east on Jericho Turnpike just west of Ellison Avenue, "was involved with another car," said Douglas Ingram, fire department chief. The first car "overturned a few times, rolled through the intersection and into the woods," he said.

That driver was extricated from the vehicle by the Westbury Fire Department and was taken by Nassau County police ambulance to Nassau University Medical Center with serious injuries, he said.

The second driver was taken to a hospital with minor injuries, he said.

The call came in at 11:04 p.m., he said.
