Car overturns on Southern State Parkway, cops say
An overturned car closed the eastbound Southern State Parkway near Exit 17 in West Hempstead for about 30 minutes on Sunday, May 29, 2016, police said. Credit: Lou Minutoli
A car flipped over in the center eastbound lane of the Southern State Parkway in West Hempstead early Sunday morning but there were no injuries, State Police said.
The incident occurred near Exit 17 shortly before 6:30 a.m. and caused the roadway to be closed for about a half hour, police said.
There was no other information immediately available.
