Police are searching for two men, one with a silver handgun, who robbed a Wells Fargo Bank branch in Syosset on Wednesday, making off with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The armed robbery took place at the branch on Jackson Avenue at about 2:20 p.m., Nassau County police said.

There were eight employees and one customer in the bank at the time. Police said there were no reported injuries.

Police said the suspects wore dark-colored hooded sweatshirts, black face masks, bluejeans and sneakers.

Both are believed to be in their 30s, between 6-foot and 6-foot-3, according to police.
