A Valley Stream man awoke to the sound of bullets shattering windows around him on Saturday morning, police said.

The 20-year-old man was asleep in his living room at 6:50 a.m. when he heard “numerous shots” outside the Orchard Place home, Nassau County police said in a news release.

One bullet broke a front window and another broke a kitchen window, police said. No injuries were reported.

Fourth Precinct patrol officers responded and found seven shell casings at the scene, police said.

Detectives asked that anyone with information call Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS.
