Back in Suffolk, Levy touts new tea-party support

Steve Levy, who's been on the move around the state to various places like Mill Basin seeking the GOP nomination for governor, today is touting new Tea Party support out of his home base. The Brightwaters-based Conservative Party for Action gives him a 93.4 percent approval rating, among the highest for any candidate to appear before the group. Frank Seabrook's 'Suffolk County Liberty Report' blog, linked here, displays Levy's statement hailing the support. In that statement, issued today, the Levy campaign quotes Seabrook as saying: “The two biggest Tea Party issues here in Suffolk County have always been fiscal conservatism and illegal immigration. Levy has always been on the right side of those issues. Levy was a Tea Partier before there were tea parties.”
