  • O’Donnell, 60, of Bayville, is running on the Democratic, Republican, and Conservative party lines in the general election.
  • In June, he was appointed as a Nassau County Family Court judge by Gov. Kathy Hochul. From 2012 to June 2022, he was a judge in the Nassau County District Court, 4th District.
  • From 2006 to 2012, he was special counsel to the Oyster Bay Town supervisor.
  • From 1995 to 2006, he was an assistant district attorney in the Nassau County district attorney’s Special Investigation Bureau, and from 1999 to 2004, he worked as special assistant U.S. attorney in the Eastern District of New York.
  • From 1990 to 1995, he was partner in a general practice law firm Kelly, Muraca & O’Donnell in Mineola.
  • He received an undergraduate degree from Bucknell University in 1984 and law degree from Seton Hall University Law School in 1987.
  • He was admitted to the New York State Bar in 1988. He is a member of the Nassau County Bar and the Former Assistant District Attorneys Association of Nassau County.
