Assistant District Attorney John Scott Prudenti’s financial disclosure forms have made their way to the Suffolk Legislature, but Prudenti’s attorneys got an appellate division temporary court order last Thursday to block the records from being disseminated to lawmakers or the public.
The Suffolk County Board of Ethics already had sent the documents to the county legislature, but Legislative Counsel Geroge Nolan said he is keeping the documents secure until a further court ruling. All sides are required to file papers on the issue with the court by Thursday.
Lawmakers want the disclosure statements to determine whether Prudenti reported any rentals of his party boats and whether he rented the boat to defense aqttorneys with whom he dealt on plea deals.
