BACKGROUND:
- Drucker, 66, of Plainview, is seeking his fourth term. He is also running on the Working Families Party line.
- He has a bachelor's in political science and history from SUNY Buffalo and a law degree from Rutgers University School of Law.
- He is an attorney and partner in Drucker & Mattia. From 2012-2016, he served on the Nassau Community College board of trustees.
ISSUES:
- Drucker said he wants to hold the Blakeman administration accountable for the distribution and allocation of nearly $270 million in remaining American Rescue Plan Act funds.
- He wants to address the Department of Assessment and inaccuracies in the tax roll.
- He wants to provide tax relief to residents, meeting or surpassing Blakeman’s 2021 promise for a $128 million tax reduction.
