- Corella, 54, of Deer Park, is making her first bid for Suffolk Legislature. She ran unsuccessfully for Babylon Town Clerk in 2021.
- She has been involved with the Deer Park Chamber of Commerce and local Kiwanis chapter, and has been a board member of the Freebird Org, which helps victims of domestic violence.
- She has a certificate in math/science from Farmingdale State College.
