- Paradiso, 59, of Rockville Centre, is running on the Democratic, Republican and Conservative party lines in the general election.
- He has served as a judge in the Nassau County District Court, 2nd District, since 2006.
- From 1999 to 2005, he served as principal law clerk to Supreme Court Justice Peter B. Skelos.
- From 1995 to 1998, he was appointed by Dennis Vacco as an assistant attorney general in Mineola.
- He received his bachelor’s degree from Long Island University in Brooklyn in 1989, and in 1992 earned both a law degree and a master’s in public administration from Syracuse University.
- He was admitted to the New York State Bar, Appellate Division, 2nd Department in 1993, and United States District Court, Eastern and Northern Districts in 1993, and Southern District in 1994.
