BACKGROUND:
- Flotteron, 61, of Brightwaters, is seeking a fourth term.
- He won his first term in 2017 after serving three terms as a Town of Islip councilman.
- He graduated from SUNY Fredonia and is a licensed insurance broker and stockbroker.
ISSUES:
- Flotteron said he supports “common-sense legislation,” including continued backing for public safety, first responders and veterans.
- He said his top priorities are “protecting taxpayers and public safety” and that he will continue to “stop wasteful spending and strive toward financial stability.”
- He is a member of the Environmental Trust Review Board and said he will continue to “preserve our open space and farmland while leading the efforts for wastewater management infrastructure to protect our Great South Bay.”
