Graham T. Musynske

BACKGROUND

• Musynske, 41, of Bayville, is a registered Democrat and is running on the Democratic party line in the general election. 
• He is a partner at Martin Clearwater & Bell in East Meadow and specializes in medical malpractice defense.
• Musynske received his law degree from Hofstra University and has a bachelor’s degree from The George Washington University in Washington, D.C.

ISSUES

• Musynske said that if elected he would make county government more transparent by modernizing the county website so residents can easily see what bills legislators have introduced, their voting records and other information. He said he would have monthly forums for constituents to ask questions and engage with government officials outside of usual business hours.

• He said he would work with colleagues at other levels of government to protect water quality and the environment for future generations, and that he supports oyster repopulation initiatives in local waterways.
• Musynske said he would focus on constituent services and allocate spending for roads and infrastructure. He said he would provide more oversight of tax dollars and eliminate wasteful spending by assessing or modifying programs that are inefficient.
