Keiserman, 53, of Port Washington, is running on the Democratic Party line in the general election. This is her first bid for public office.
She is a former president of the Port Washington Democratic Club and is a board member of the North Hempstead Housing Authority.
Keiserman holds a bachelor’s degree in government and a master’s degree in education for secondary social studies, both from the College of William & Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia.

Keiserman said she supports law enforcement funding and said making sure that Nassau enforces red flag laws is a priority, as well as stopping County Executive Bruce Blakeman’s special deputies program.
She said she supports reproductive rights and the New York Equal Rights Amendment ballot proposition that expands the state’s constitution to bar discrimination over gender identity and pregnancy outcomes.
Keiserman also said that if elected she would fight against any cuts to schools in her district and oppose congestion pricing.
