JASON A. RICHBERG
Democratic
BACKGROUND:
- Richberg, 41, of West Babylon, was elected in 2020 to the county legislature, where he currently serves as minority leader.
- He was clerk for the county legislature from 2015 to 2020. Before that, he was chief of staff for county Legis. DuWayne Gregory.
- He earned a bachelor’s in political science from Wilberforce University and a master’s in organizational leadership from Claremont Lincoln University.
ISSUES:

- He says his role is “chief advocate” for his district and wants to expand GED and apprenticeship programs and affordable housing units.
