Cuthbertson, 59, of Huntington, is running on the Democratic and Republican party lines in the general election.
He was a councilman on the Huntington Town Board from 1998 to 2021.
Cuthbertson is a private practice attorney and has operated the Law Offices of Mark A. Cuthbertson since 2004.
He was of counsel at Farrell Fritz PC from 2001 to 2003.
Cuthbertson was assistant town attorney in the Town of Huntington from 1996 to 1997.
He received his bachelor’s degree from Villanova University in 1988 and earned his law degree from Albany Law School of Union University in 1992. He was admitted to the New York State Bar in 1993.
