BACKGROUND:
- Ferretti, 40, of Levittown, is running for a fourth term. He is also running on the Conservative Party line. He served as chief deputy county clerk from 2010 to 2017.
- He is an associate trial attorney with the law firm of Nicolini, Paradise, Ferretti & Sabella.
- He has a bachelor’s in political science and history from Hofstra University and a law degree from CUNY School of Law.
ISSUES:
- Ferretti said he wants to hold the line on taxes and is committed to a 2024 tax freeze, as well as cutting additional spending and taxes through management accountability measures and monitoring spending.
- He said he wants to preserve the suburban lifestyle, such as by stopping Gov. Kathy Hochul’s housing plan, which would have overridden local zoning.
- He supports full funding for police departments and opposes "cashless bail" and bail reform.
