SARAH E. TULLY
Democratic
BACKGROUND:
- Tully, 41, of St. James, is seeking her first term in office.
- She has been a stay-at-home mom with previous project management experience at Adecco, a Melville-based staffing agency.
- She is currently attending Suffolk County Community College.
ISSUES:
- Tully said she is concerned about vacant stores on Main Street. She said there is a lack of transparency because the town board holds meetings during the day when people are working.
- She said her top priorities are keeping projects on schedule, such as repairs to Callahans Beach, playgrounds at Hoyt Farm and sewer projects in Kings Park.
- She said she would be a voice for an entire generation not represented on the town board as young residents seek to buy homes amid a cost-of-living crisis.
