Proposal Three, A Proposition
Voters in the Town of East Hampton will be asked if it's okay for Suffolk County to take over a piece of greenspace that splits Three Mile Harbor and Springs-Fireplace Roads in hopes of creating a roundabout roadway on part of the land. The referendum is in response to traffic safety worries.
A "YES" vote ensures the swap and potential redevelopment of the roundabout.
A "NO" vote will likely keep the roadway as is.
