BACKGROUND:

  • Ricigliano, 59, of Garden City, is running on the Democratic, Republican and Conservative party lines.
  • He was elected to the Nassau County Court in 2014, and has served as an acting Supreme Court justice since 2015.
  • Ricigliano served as a Nassau County District Court judge from 1998-2000 and from 2002 to 2014.
  • He was a former legislative assistant to State Sen. Kemp Hannon from 1992-1999.
  • Ricigliano graduated from Manhattanville College in 1985 and earned his law degree from St. John's University Law School in 1988.
  • He was admitted to the New York State Bar in 1989.
