Hillary Rodham Clinton is due for a $2,700 per person fundraiser on June 1 in the Laurel Hollow home of Nassau Democratic chairman Jay Jacobs.
Jacobs said he expects "in the neighborhood of 150 people" to attend. The $2,700 price tag is the maximum individual contribution allowed for the primary election.
Jacobs, who hosted a talk with Clinton before a camp association convention in Atlantic City shortly before she declared her run for presidency, has also been a contributor to party causes on his own.
He has hosted fundraisers in previous years for Bill de Blasio when he was running for mayor in 2013 as well as for Sen. Charles Schumer, gubernatorial candidate Andrew M. Cuomo, and Rep. Steve Israel. He hosted a fundraiser in 2007 for Clinton when she first ran for president, he noted.
