On Tuesday at the State of the County address at NYCB Live's Nassau Coliseum, Nassau County Executive Laura Curran announced the building of the Hub, a $1.5 billion plan to redevelop 72 acres around the Coliseum. Curran also said she will oppose legalized recreational marijuana sales in Nassau if state legislation approves the legal sale of pot.
