State Attorney General-elect Letitia James has named two Long Islanders to her 36-member transition team in advance of her taking office Jan. 1.
James, a Democrat who was elected last month, named Kevin Law, president and CEO of the Long Island Association, the region’s largest business group, and Lynn Poster-Zimmerman, president-elect of the Suffolk County Bar Association.
The transition team will begin meeting shortly.
James’ chief of staff, Ibrahim Khan, also has Long Island roots. He was raised in Brentwood and served as an aide to Assemb. Phil Ramos (D-Brentwood) and regional representative for State Senate Democrats.
