Two onetime aides of disgraced ex-NYC Correction Commissioner Bernard Kerik have long since landed on their feet — and now play roles in the administration of new New Jersey Governor Chris Christie. Top former Kerik deputy William Fraser, who was correction commissioner under Mayor Michael Bloomberg, is now the Monmouth County jail warden and serves on Christie’s transition team. And former top Fraser deputy Gary Lanigan, a financial official at the Metropolitan Transportation Authority, will head the state’s prison system.
