BACKGROUND:

• Mullen, 52, of Bayport, is running on the Republican and Conservative party lines in the general election.
• She has worked at the law firm Biedermann, Hoenig, Semprevivo in Manhattan since 2015, and has been a partner there since 2019. Since 2016, Mullen has been a Councilwoman for the Town of Islip.
• From 2003-2015, she was in private practice in Central Islip, where she concentrated on criminal defense and personal injury cases.
• She was an assistant district attorney for Suffolk County from 1995 to 2003.
• She earned her law degree from St. John’s University School of Law in 1995 and received her Bachelor’s degree from Fairfield University in 1992.
• She was admitted to the New York State bar in 1996 and is a member of the New York State Bar Association and the Suffolk County Bar Association.
