Nassau Dems implore GOP to OK 'Taxpayer Protection Plan'

Nassau Minority Leader Kevan Abrahams, alongside the county legislature's Democrats, called on majority Republicans Tuesday to ratify the "Taxpayer Protection Plan." The bill, which will spread property tax assessment changes over five years, has already been backed by state lawmakers.
