Marking 40 years since President Richard Nixon's historic trip to China, Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton at a Washington event last week praised the "Nixon-Cox families," particularly Tricia Cox, Nixon's daughter and wife of Ed Cox, New York's GOP chairman. Ed Cox said he cherished the day and Clinton's remarks. That's the same Clinton who worked for Nixon's impeachment and was vilified by the GOP as first lady. But Cox noted she attended the wedding last summer of his son Christopher Cox to Andrea Catsimatidis, daughter of Democratic fundraiser John Catsimatidis. -- Tom Brune
