Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo is scheduled to take food TV star Sandra Lee back to their home Wednesday from the hospital after her surgery on Tuesday, Lee's spokeswoman said.
Lee will have a nurse at home and intravenous treatments for a couple weeks to ward off more infection stemming from her May 19 double mastectomy, her spokeswoman said.
Lee is expected to leave St. Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital Center around 5:30 p.m.
Lee underwent two hours of surgery Tuesday evening a week after she was rushed to the hospital in pain and suffering from a fluid buildup that took days to diagnose.
Lee and Cuomo have dated for 10 years and they share her home in Westchester County.
