Dean Skelos’ wife sold their Capital region condominium amid the former power broker’s corruption trial, the Albany Times Union reported.
Gail Skelos, who is listed as the owner of the condo in Guilderland, put the dwelling up for sale in May — just after then-Senate majority leader and his son were arrested. The Craigslist ad called the seller “motivated.”
The property sold for $120,000, according to filings in the newspaper’s deeds section, the newspaper reported. Guilderland is a town about 12 miles northwest of Albany.
Skelos and his son, Adam, were convicted last week on eight counts of extortion, bribery and conspiracy involving schemes to pressure campaign contributors and business with government interests to give Adam lucrative jobs. Lawyers for the two have said they will appeal.
The former senator owns a home in Rockville Centre. He and his wife jointly own a condo in Fort Myers, Florida, according to state Ethics Commission filings.
