Sources: Pig's foot sent to Peter King

Postal authorities recently intercepted a package addressed to Rep. Peter King (R-Seaford) that contained a frozen pig's hoof and a letter with an anti-Semitic rant, congressional sources said Monday.

The sender apparently mistakenly believed that King, a Roman Catholic, is Jewish, the sources said. King, who learned about the package Monday, declined to comment.

Capitol Police are investigating a suspicious package addressed to King but declined to comment. The package arrived just weeks after King held a controversial hearing on Muslim radicalization in America.
