Term-limited Suffolk Legis. Jay Schneiderman, who is now running for Southampton town supervisor, has sent out invtitations to his first fundraiser, a $250-per-person event set for the Bridge Golf Club in Bridgehampton.

The event is hosted by developers Gregg and Mitchell Rechler of Rechler Equity, who are building the 440,000-square-foot Hampton Business Park, which is to include a hotel, day care and conference center on 50 acres at Suffolk's Gabreski Airport in Westhampton Beach.

Schneiderman's campaign fund shows that he raised $7,750 in the last six months and has $7,605 on hand. He said he hopes to raise $50,000 by Election Day.

His Republican foe, Richard Yastrzemski, a Southampton village trustee, has so far raised $2,500 and has $2,414 on hand.
