If you want to be Suffolk’s next commissioner of jurors, you have until April 21 to apply. Starting pay is $115,299 a year.

The job was listed on the Office of Court Administration website late last week. Current Commissioner of Jurors Michael O’Donohoe, a Conservative, held the post for 22 years, the last 14 as a holdover. The commissioner has a four-year term.

After the deadline, court spokeswoman Mary Porter said, Suffolk Administrative Judge C. Randall Hinrichs will call a meeting of the county jury board, composed of supreme court judges, county court judges, and the surrogate judge.

Porter could not say how the field of candidates might be narrowed or how many might be interviewed.
