President Donald Trump on Sunday shared with his tens of millions of Twitter followers a video clip altered to show him striking and knocking over Hillary Clinton with a golf ball.

He retweeted the GIF, captioned “Donald Trump’s amazing golf swing #CrookedHillary,” from the account of a supporter whose profile identifies him as Mike from New York.

The act drew responses on Twitter that condemned Trump for inciting violence and unpresidential conduct, but some also said the post was funny.

White House spokeswomen did not respond to a request for comment.

The GIF splices clips of Trump swinging a golf club and Clinton falling after appearing to be struck in the back by a golf ball.

David Urban, a former Trump campaign adviser, was dismissive on CNN’s “State of the Union.”

“Retweets do not equal endorsement,” Urban said, laughing.

Another of the show’s roundtable members, Republican strategist Ana Navarro, called the retweet childish.

“We cannot normalize this kind of behavior from the president of the United States,” she said.

Trump has repeatedly posted critical tweets about his former 2016 presidential campaign rival.

In July, he tweeted an edited video that shows him body-slamming a figure with the CNN logo superimposed on its face.
