ALBANY — Donald Trump is set to address the New York state Conservative Party, while accepting its nomination, on Wednesday, the party said.

The event will be held at the Marriott Marquis in midtown Manhattan.

Back in February, Conservative Party Chairman Michael Long said an informal vote of party officials showed most supported Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.), believing he had the best chance to defeat Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton. But Long also indicated the party (which has been influential in state elections but not as much in federal contests) ultimately would support whoever captured the Republican nomination.
