The former New York City mayor returned to NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Columbia University Medical Center this week and was placed in its intensive care unit, spokesman George Arzt said.

“Dr. Joseph Tenenbaum, cardiologist and lead doctor, said he wanted to monitor the former mayor more closely,” Arzt said in a brief statement.
