• Saltzman, 55, of Great Neck, is running on the Working Families Party line in the general election.
• Saltzman is a supervising attorney at the Queens Defenders, a nonprofit public defense organization she has worked for since 1997.
• In addition to that position, Saltzman has had an individual practice in criminal and civil cases in Forest Hills, Queens, for the last 10 years.
• Saltzman graduated with a bachelor’s degree from New York University in 1988 and earned her law degree from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, Yeshiva University in 1991.
